Hola Fashionistas, wow it’s been a long time since I’ve been here. I must apologize for that. Laziness at its best. 😕 I always promise to get back to posting regularly and I never do.
As you may have seen from my title, I finally gathered the courage to get my helix piercing. I’ve been wanting this piercing for years. Many years. But I was terrified of a cartilage piercing. Mainly because of some of the horror stories about the healing process, etc.. But after much Tik Tok research 😂 and a trip to Vegas, I was all in.
A friend and I were in Las Vegas, having dinner and I mentioned to her that I really wanted get it done. Girlfriend immediately jumped and said “let’s go.” We found a reputable place minutes from us, and off we went.
It’s been three months now and it’s still healing. I’m shocked at how long it takes you to heal this.
It’s very important that you go and get the back part downsized. It will help with your healing process. So make sure you go when your piercer recommends it.
All the instructions should be in the paperwork they give you when your piercing is done.
Helix and Lobe piercing
I downsized both, about eight weeks after I had them done. I still spray them twice a day and thank God, no bumps.
As soon as the helix heals, I’m ready for my next one.
So, if you’ve wanted one, chica go get it done. You’ll love it. ✌🏾
